Parang On De Hill

Parang on De Hill was presented by Citizens in Service of San Fernando on Sunday 13th December, 2009. Parranderos came to San Fernando to showcase great performances we’ve come to expect from the top Parang groups. Following are the top groups at the conclusion of the evening:

1st El Fuego Caribeno

2nd Los Amigos de San Juan

San Fernando Hill came alive with the sounds of sweet Parang music. The ambiance was a picnic setting where everyone enjoyed passionate performances as the Parranderos serenaded them. It was the essence of what Parang music is to Christmas Season in Trinidad and Tobago – it’s not Christmas without Parang.

The groups that participated in order of appearance:
1. Amantes De Parranda
2. Los Amigos Cantadores
3. Los Maestros De Musica
4. Voces Jovenes
5. Los Reyes
